My first "real" clematis flower. The first ones I think were "forced hot house" types, from when I bought the plant.

Pretty! I have some of that purple leafy stuff. Do you know what it's called, by any chance? I like it...it doesn't mind me forgetting to water it most days. :p

Thanks, Rebbetzin! I bought mine at Walmart, but they didn't have it labeled. I have mine planted in a container and I can't believe I haven't killed it yet (me and container/houseplants don't get along...) It seems to be rather drought tolerant.

I have been slowly replacing my "English Country " garden plants with less thirsty plants. I used to have such a cool green garden...
I loved my dichondra growing between the flagstones on the path to the front door.
From 2007 (back when water bills weren't so high)

This is from 2010 when I had just put in the Artificial Turf

I haven't taken any photos or my PVC arh this year. Here it is from last year.

@rebbetzin, beautiful views of your changing garden. I realize the in Arizona you need to be more water conscious, but my heart is with the English Cottage Garden. My goal is to develop one around my garden shed.
