Had to put a light jacket on this morning, over my hawaii shirt. It's ok, makes a good little break from all the heat, and not too cool for the plants. Might not even water today. Oh, maybe a quick splash on seeds not yet sprouted this afternoon.

I know. It's May 14th. Up in Montana this would be totally splendid weather. Actually, we got days like this in May quite often, but the 50 degree nights in May up there are rare.

It is currently just before 1300 EST and 81 slightly overcast with a 50% chance of rain. Our AC took a nose dive on Sunday... and only half the screens have windows... I'm ROASTING! (I know... I'm a pansy... LOL)

Wellp, it's warmed up to 70 with just a few puffy clouds in a blue slightly windy sky. The lake is all nice and blue too!

I bet you've got that right, Marshall.

Our high this afternoon looks like it was 87F - far and away, our warmest temperature this year!

It was 50 this morning. The Weather Service had predicted 41 so they got that wrong, wrong, wrong . . . but, it is the 1st morning that warm this month so maybe we can forgive the WS. There were 3 mornings of frost last week .

The house is still cool without the air conditioning - a comfortable 75. This won't last if the weather stays this warm but the highs are supposed to drop below 70 before the end of the week. After so much cool weather, anything above 60 feels warm to me! Still, I think our last frost has passed -- YAY!!!

The peppers especially really, really want out of their containers and into some fresh garden soil but . . . even if it doesn't drop to freezing, the peppers - hate the cold.
