Suppose to get to 30 degrees tonight for 2 hours. Will it kill tomatoes and peppers? I am going to cover them and hope they survive.

Won't know till tomorrow AM. Covered what I could. Wind makes it impossible to do without covers doing damage. Rain makes paper useless. If God wants them dead, they'll be dead.

Luckily, I looked at forecast wrong. 34 degrees, feels like 30.

I'd be running to the kitchen for pots and pans, anything I could get my hands on. Storage tubs, buckets, cardboard boxes... Maybe you'd have time to run to the recycle center for some boxes?

Frost can form at 40°, depending on the moisture in the air, causing some damage but not killing. Wind is good, keeps the cold air from settling in the low spots. Clouds can help keep the temp up a bit. 28 to 32° for 6 hours is a kill. So many variables... Sure hope they make it! :fl
