First, thank you @Nyboy. Got the book and starting to read it. Thank you for the implied compliment that I can (& do) read. :)

He has given permission to pass it on to others that would like to read it. So let me know, when I get done, I will forward it on.

Seed, it's good to know you can (and do ) read. Otherwise I would have wondered if you had a proxy here at TEG... :p Reading all the good posts to you...

Anyway-

A friend of mine read that book (I assume it's the 60 something dollar tomato book?)
and passed it along to me. She thought it was hilarious, and I should mention that she's not a gardener. Not one bit in fact.
I thought it was funny, but did find myself getting a little exasperated with the author for being so silly about not finding the better way to do things.
But I do realize if he had, that wouldn't have made for much fun at his expense. Haha.

I also find myself getting a little upset with writer. Turning wild pests loose, just kill them. The $$$ spent on back yard but she is a doctor and he has a good job so money, not an issue.
