So I whipped up some compost tea the other day, it seems with the heat of the summer that watering regularly isn't helping give any of my plants strength, and I don't want a heavy fertilizer... or to spend money on an organic.

So I basically put a scoop of compost into a bucket and filled with water. Then after an hour or so, went and gave everyone a good watering at their roots. No more then a couple of cups... but I really see everything looking more GREEN today already.

I am going to give everyone another dose this weekend.

I just want to make sure the second (and probably last) dose won't be too much?

I like coming to the rescue of my plants!!!

I've read that the success of compost tea rests more on the complex enzymes in it than the NPK. There are things in there that have yet to be discovered or explored by science.

Compost Tea and Manure Tea are some of the best additives you can add to the garden.

One of the best tricks that I found was to add a once of Black Strap Molasses to 5 gallon bucket of "tea" mix a long with 4 good hand fulls of Alfalfa Meal. I have been adding this to my Compost Tea and Manure Tea for about 5 year now..
