We had a new hard drive put in our 10 or so year old mac. Under $300, they took it back 2 more times finding photos that did not transfer the first time, at no extra charge. Very happy with price, service, and outcome/

I once thought that ..
. using a tablet or smartphone with a stylus was essential for me.
It has taken about 3 years before I realized recently that I'm now using my naked digitS' about 50% of the time.

Right now, I'm on a HP all in one with both a keyboard and a 24" touchscreen.
Generally, I never touch the screen ... maybe, when I'm tired and want a simple poke to turn it off. It's probably just from being "old school." Eighth grade typing class was a long time ago and it was a big deal for me to learn how to type. I went through years of schooling without a computer of any sort, let alone one with a touchscreen.
Still, I'm gonna push this screen & all outta my way and pick up the tablet ... I have to move around and not stay frozen behind this thing!

My ipad is old and got very slow. I got this new chromebook pro with a keyboard. I like having the keyboard, love that it is fast, and I love having a touchscreen.
My big question though, is why the google operating system makes it almost impossible to save a photo that someone sends me into google photos. I have to keep opening the slow ipad, which will save photos to google automatically. There must be a better way. That is my technology rant for today.

LAst night I bought cheap HP laptop. I can not believe how cheap they become. Will use till old one fixed them bring new one to country house
