Boggybranch posted a link about a gardening aide that is out of India. I contacted them who directed me to a distributor in New Mexico. He was beligerant when I asked for a way to prove his product worked. He really went off of the deep end when he suggested a pound of his product per acre would make this huge carbon difference in an acre to make the product (VAM) I was interested in work. Of course the fact that he was in business 45 years and a PHD was suppose to impress me--sorry.......

Now the question, any suggestions on how to get in touch w/people who work with agriculture products in other countries where they try to maximize productivity? I'm thinking Israel would have a wealth of knowledge but no idea how to start the process. Suggestions?

Perhaps a place to start, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN: http://www.fao.org/

Here is Israel's Report to the FAO. At least, it gives names of agricultural agencies and university research sites. Googling them should take you to contact information.

And, here is the Binational Agricultural Research and Development Fund set up by the governments of the United States and Israel. "BARD-sponsored research has led to new technologies in drip irrigation, pesticides, fish farming, livestock, poultry, disease control and farm equipment."
