Garden Master
Check this out... http://gardenplanner.rareseeds.com/gardenplanner/gardenplanner.html# Garden planner from Baker Creek. The link has lots of videos showing how it works. This thing will email you planting reminders, factors in crop rotation suggestions based on 5 years back, calculates your planting dates based on your location/frost dates, calculates succession planting, etc. I have not seen a garden planner software this complex, have you?
I'm going to get the 30 day trial and see how it works. Has anyone else tried it? Subscription is $25/yr or $40/2-years. I am thinking it might be worth it not to have to keep track of it on paper each year, plus all the thinking it is supposed to do for me. (Especially since I can't hear myself think anymore, LOL.) Check it out and let me know what you guys think.
ETA: Wow, the plant list is exhaustive too. And you can have multiple tabs, one for each garden plot (with full version). I do wish it was software on my computer, rather than server run, however.
