correct leaning oak trees today

they are about 3-4" caliper. we've had some magnificent, stupendous, wonderful, great rain the last few days. the ground is saturated it was a now or never situation and hopefully the trees tolerated the correction ok.

I know what you mean about the rain. It's still too wet to do anything in the garden but after the last two years, I'm OK with that. And I know you had it worse than we did with the drought.

I've corrected trees like that before. I use an old sock to go around the tree so I don't have a cutting edge with a narrow rope and pull them up straight, then tie it off.

It'll be nice if the drought in Texas is all over.
