Very nice! Did you use a double needle for the top stitching? Even my single row top stitching usually comes out looking like I was blind in one eye and couldn't see out of the other.
Yours looks perfect! :)

When you said cowboy shirt I was thinking of all the fancy embroidery and I was wondering how the congregation would respond if the Rabbi showed up looking like the Rhinestone Cowboy.
All kidding aside that's a nice loking shirt. Any man would be proud to say his wife made it for him.

What a great job...I would never try to do a man's shirt...too tailored...and that double stiching, oi, mine would look like a drunken sailor did it...

Great job. I struggle with even top stiching. Your did a fabulous job. Will it get snaps or buttons? (He is going to love this.)
I am doing snaps, I really hate doing buttonholes! My machine does them, but not automatically. I don't trust myself to make so many button holes and have them all look good.

I suppose if I did much top stitching like this I would get a double needle. But, I just go very slowly, I have only had to re do one line of stitching so far.

Tomorrow I really have to make an effort to get this project done.

It is geting there,

I put the collar in the shirt, the sleeves and cuffs are on, I need him to come home so I can make sure the cuffs will be the right length, then it is just finish the cuffs, hem the shirt and put on the snaps, THEN it will be FINISHED!!!
