Is anyone growing a cucino hybrid cucumber? I got the seeds from Park Seed, though I don't see them on the site anymore. I planted six, three grew, and they are now putting out *plenty* of cucumbers for salads every day. Small, dark green, not bitter even in this heat, (while I regularly toss the straight eight and national pickling cucumbers I'm harvesting.)

I remember the seeds were pricey, but so far they're worth it!

Yes, I think they could be pickled... but I think we go through *maybe* one jar a year of dill slices (for hamburgers) and DH eats some sugar free bread and butter pickles. I'm more inclined to have my fill on salads while they're in season and then eat soup in the winter. :) My Straight Eights have been a disappointment, but the National Pickling cucumbers are going strong -- as long as I can get to them when they're small vs. missing one for a day and finding a giant yellow cucumber out there!

ETA: here's the link (currently sold out) http://www.parkseed.com/gardening/PD/5600/
