i seem to be geting the beginings of a cuc beetle infestation is there anything other than picking off by hand morning and night
my free range chickens eem to be hanging around them scratching at the mulch i asume they are helping too
what tdo there larvae look like
on a cpl of my floweres there are thousands of tiny black bugs too

I know it seems daunting- but hand picking them really does work! In a very few days, you will see a big difference... Good luck!

Yeah, I've been hand picking too this season.... they never really took over this year since I was squishing one/two/three a day and now I don't really seem many.

yep i have been picking by hand too and it true they seem unable to get a real foot hold

If you have a leaf blower/vacuum you might try using that. I ran out of cucumber beetles before I thought of the idea, but it sure works great on japanese beetles! If you still have an abundance of them, give it a try! The battle continues! Enjoy!
