Curly Dock

Check out this example of curly dock I came across with multiple stalks coming from the same root system. Normally these grow with a single stalk. I've onky seen them get multiple spires when deer have bitten part of the main stalk off, which did not appear to happen here

This was one of two that came up like this. Weird.

Ha. Maybe. The NPS Ranger I was with was blown away too. Also saw some great examples of Angelica

Your season looks to be about where ours is, Sprig'.

Maybe not in that condition but I have just noticed that the curly dock here has stalks and seed heads.
