These started under the patch of peas and bided their time until the peas finished.

Beets and beet greens, probably my favorite veggie. If I don't hide mine along side something else, the deer always find them. Grrr.

I am a big fan of baby beets . .

. & beet greens!

There are probably some varieties that are better suited for that use than others.
