I'm often up too early. I suppose either way, early or too late, it would be a "what the heck's the matter with you?" situation.

But, if I'm up too, too early, I'm likely to fall asleep after breakfast. Dreams wake me, early or later. Not infrequently, it is a song and this morning, Barbra Streisand:

Can it be that it was all so simple then
Or has time rewritten every line
And if we had the chance to do it all again
Tell me
Would we
Could we

You know what brought that on ... @Nyboy 's thread about Oprah/Santa Barbara and memories of the ex ... i'm blaming him, anyway.

;)

I hate when a dream wakes me up. Lately I've been getting woken up by sudden, LOUD crashing sounds. As best as I can figure out, I'm dreaming them. I have YET to find anything amiss when I launch out of bed and search the house.
The only other thing I can think of is that my roommate is trying to drive me insane and is throwing something down just outside my door and then snatching it up and running back to her room..... which.. might be a possibility....

LOL - no. :\
I've actually told people that IF I should die before I get fed up enough to kick her out, she is to be evicted before I get to the funeral home.

eta: added the IF - makes an important difference!

Hmmm

I had the same crash dream about a month ago. It may have been DW coming to bed but she ignored me getting up at about 10:15. She probably just awakened me and my brain interpreted that as a meteor tearing off half the house . Nothing was going on and it was very unusual for me to have imagined that there was, especially with no confirmation from DW.

With all the election year doomsday talk, I'm surprised that about my only sleep problem is waking too early. Dreams are often a little absurd and that is about it. Almost never a problem dropping off.

If I had that problem, I could follow the advice of Mark Twain. He said to try lying across the foot of the bed for a change. The person might be more likely to drop off.

Steve :D
