I had a surprise in one of my daylily beds. April the first a daylily in bloom. Close to 3 months early. It was only on a 2 inch tall spike, one of several buds. It is not very pretty or very open and a flower as small as a crocus. But what an odd occurrence. I am assuming that it is because of the mild winter and early spring. What will this season bring?
