Deer repentant?

So someone told me to wisk egg whites in water and spray around the field. Should I put it ON the plants? Any thoughts on homemade repellents?

What else are you using to deter these beasties?

Better get that puppy of yours out there... You can try human/dog hair and Irish Spring soap, hanging about. But, really you need a tall fence. I have read about using fishing line- and also those sprinklers that turn on and off randomly. Then, there is hunting season.... Good luck!
