Disappointed in Cherokee Purples

They just don't have the rich and sweet taste I thought they would. They are beautiful, but I think I like the brandywines better - and I have yet to get a ripe one. :rolleyes:

Mine are just starting to show some faint color but one thing for sure, they have to be better than the rubber tomatos at the supermarket.

I am a little disappointed as I have 2 plants and only 1 green tomato on either. They both had been flowering heavily... but nada another tomato starting anywhere.

I am waiting patiently on my White Wonders which are the ones that are bogged down with fruit.

I've heard Black Krim is the best tasting purple tomato. Maybe I'll try it next year.
