Do Stores Near You Still Have Mums ?

The windowboxes at work still have summer flowers, proves leaky windows losing heat. Sat night I went out to get some mums, I think of them as Thanksgiving flowers. I went to 3 store no one had a mum, pansy or kale plant Everything was geared to Christmas. Can you find late Autumn flowers near you ?

They still have them around here but they look like crap!!!!
Next trip is to the dumpster..

My mother always had a pot as center piece Thanksgiving. I need some thing for window boxes at work don't want Xmas yet.

I was going to suggest fake ones but even those are gone at craft stores now that all the Christmas stuff is in. The only thing I can think of is to place gourds on top of the soil. Trader Joe's over here has different colorful gourds in pretty fall colors.
