Never on purpose. Some years I need to get out in the afternoon for something, having forgotten it was black Friday. Usually by the afternoon, though, it has calmed down.
This year, one of my grand daughters and I went to some thrift stores, then to Chik-fil-a for a late lunch, which was terribly busy. Our Chik-fil-a is always busy. I don't know how we survived before it came to town.

The thrift store I went to Saturday had some defensively suspicious shoppers.

I think some of them may have been Black Friday, PTSD survivors.

I found a 1 cup measuring cup. It had both metric and British Colonial markings, of course.

You can get some good deals online too. No need to go out. I keep hearing that the Friday sales online are better than Cyber Monday.

I think most people who do go...well technically it's Thursday night...do it for the thrill.

I don't imagine there are too many introverts out there on Black Friday. I am not big on shopping any day of the year. I'd rather click and have it show up at my door.

NO!

I don't enjoy shopping at the best of times. Days like Black Friday are far from the best.

Maverick and I did go to a home improvement late Friday for stain (son is back to working in the basement). Totally forgot it was a shopping 'holiday'. The place was busier then on a usual Friday night, but quiet and not the least bit hectic.

No, that's the worse day to go! I actually don't shop much anymore. Turning into a minimalist, haha. I do need some jeans though, so one of these days I'll go to Banana Republic and hope I find some on sale. I'm hoping for 50% off.

Nope. I did get some great deals online Friday though. Got my husbands Christmas present to me.
Boots, riding jeans and a blouse, all on sale. :)

Thursday evening after the big meal we were hanging out with the neighbors around their table. Everybody was perusing the Black Friday ads in the paper and passing them around. Many of us noticed that the so called "deals" were higher than the regular prices on some items...

One year I was in Best Buys (electronic store) and saw a tv on sale. I started peeling off the sale sticker and underneath was the regular price which was the same as sale price. I always peel back stickers, haha. I don't trust them.
