for your property / farm or just your little plot? If so, I'd like to hear them. Sis and I want to name our one little acre place, but can't come up with something charming or that will suit us. Any suggestions? :watering

We do, actually. We named our homestead Cackleberry Creek Farm. We have a creek and lots of eggs, and...well, I just love a good alliteration. I originally meant it as a joke, but the kids and the hubby liked it, so it stuck.

Oh, I remember doing a topic like this and there were some GREAT homestead names up!

We have a post with a sign painted on it by the front drive that says "Fogl's Roost". In honor of our feathered friends. :D

We are TomCat Farm. My husband Tom and myself, Cathy. What are your names? Native plants that exist on your property might be a place to start. Blueberry Hill. Red Oakes.

Both unofficially....

My little sub-farm/business whatchamacallsit is called Detlor Poultry. I operate all of the poultry-related goings on to do with selling/buying/managing/breeding birds, so Detlor Poultry is my front name. It also cmae to include produce. I never use it unless I'm putting up a farmstand or an ad.
We call our farm Crazy Acres.

All clever names for sure! I love the Rusty Pony!

Well, our names are Joan and Joyce,(we are identical twins) but Joyce goes by her middle name which is Renee. Native plants are Louisiana Iris and a Magnolia we planted a couple of months ago. We have oaks, but not the majestic Live Oak, sweet gums (that we hate) Our "southern" but non-native are crepe myrtles and azaleas.
