OK, I finally found it on PBS and watched it this evening. It IS funny, and I love some of the characters....like the police officer, or constable.....and Doc's receptionist.
The scenery is beautiful. I guess they film it all there? In that quaint little town? Or do you think it is all movie sets?

That is Port Isaac in the south of England.

There is a St. Wenn nearby and the writer combined the names.

The name Ellingham is a rearrangement of the letters of the writer's family name ... I'd like to know that guy .

Don't know how they found a baby that looked so much like the Doc, but that kid sure does.

I know this sounds odd, but I feel so sorry for the Doc...and also for Louisa. He can't help being how he is and she can't help wanting him to be different.

The scenery is really beautiful, I love all the pink Centranthus spilling over the rock walls. They must film the same 4 months of the year when it's in bloom. I have one measly plant and it's still in a pot.
I just ordered series 7 from Amazon, as I said before I can watch these shows over and over again, such a great cast. I think PC Penhale needs a big hug from someone, anyone? Although in the last couple of episodes it looks like things might be looking up for him in the romance department .

I've missed half the shows this new season. That's okay, they will repeat but it ain't fair for DW to hog the remote.

I'd like to do a little better than 50%.
