Does Your Local Nursery Carry Paw Paw Trees ?

I have never seen a Paw Paw tree for sale at big box store. I called around to all the big nursery near me looking for them. No one carried them or remembered ever having them. I did end up ordering 2 online. Have you ever seen them for sale at nursery near you?

I have no idea if I can even get them here in Ireland (don't think so), but when we had a garden nursery in South Africa we used to stock them in small numbers. They are very prone to frost and cold, when small, so we had to be careful with them. They did not sell well or quick either, which may be why they are not readily available in nurseries near you. I don't know why though, they are wonderful to have in the garden!

Our local nursery here in Alameda carries them and so do others.
