Dog flu

I just saw a news story where in Cook County ( Chicago, Ill. ) there is a dog flu epidemic with over 1,000 dogs being seriously sick and 6 have already died. Everyone is asked to not take their dogs to parks,shows, dog groomers, walks or any other place that is frequented by dogs. I wonder if the street dog and rescued dog imports from foreign countries by the humane society has anything to do with this serious health issue .

no, it is a form of flu that seriously affects dogs worse than kennel cough-aka Bordetella.

I heard on the news today that the dog flu originated in China and South Korea, so it sounds like it might be from those rescued dogs. I haven't heard anyone make that connection, yet. I sure hope the "dog rescue" stops until they can get this tracked. Maybe this will stop that ridiculousness altogether.
Sounds like lawsuit material to me!
