Cause I'm bored at work and I got the thinking about my 2013 garden, thinking gee gotta try that squash, far as tomatoes go what new variety do I want to try this year? Maybe an oxheart? Hmmm "I wonder if there is a black paste tomato?" I LOVE the flavor of them, and think I always try to put some of them in my tomato sauce. I don't really want to grow a ton of blacks to make sauce with, so lets see what Google has to say about black paste tomatoes?

Well low and behold Japense Black Trifle. I GOTTA GET SOME!!!! I promised myself oh keep it simple with everything we've got planned for next year but dang it I found them and I'm dying to try them!!!

:woot

Had to share my joy with people who get it!

Hope everybody has a Happy Thanksgiving

Be Safe!

Jared, that one is my absolute favorite! I discovered it 2 yeas ago. The taste is wonderful and produces a lot. I used it to can for my salsa. But the salsa also had other different tomatoes in it.

Never tried it, but it's pretty. Wish there was enough room in my garden to try them all...as easy as it is to start your own. Can't find much variety at the feed n' seed or greenhouses around here.

Happy Thanksgiving to you too! :)

(I'm just sitting here with my fingers crossed, hoping my rolls will rise in time. :hide )
