A friend has been in Iowa City hospital for Cancer treatments, his wife stayed there with him. So we have been doing chicken chores.

Many times it doesn't work ~ I've never tried to hatch one ~ but I've seen videos ~ the chicks didn't live ~ I would try it now though ~ because it would be neat ```

i think i can see why it would be a problem as the eggwhite may not be enough liquid for them to survive. also, perhaps one would out compete the other and then trouble if the one didn't make it and started to spoil. ugh, things i don't really want to think about right now, but life is at times messy...

One of my girls laid double yokes at the beginning of her starting to lay, she doesn't anymore but when she did they were amazing. I can't bear the thought of eating shop bought eggs anymore, there's nothing like a fresh egg from your own chicken's :)
