Chillin' In The Garden
I've been toying with a concept that i think would be brilliant to have, provided it works. I'm in north eastern TN and the humidity tends to run high, which is my main concern. What are everyone's thoughts on a no-wall to two-wall 'dry house', made with shelves that limit contact with fruits and vegetables(as little contact as possible, to aid in drying)? I was thinking of two walls with either swing or slide-out shelves, so in case of rain you could hide the fruit from the elements behind the walls quickly, but the exact design is irrelevant at the moment. With the humidity levels, could an effective, no- electricity-required dry house be built that would preserve fruit and veggies until next season?
