Does it really work to hook a bounce sheet to the beltloop to keep mosquitoes at bay?

I'd rub exposed skin, down, with it. Have read it works, MANY times. Had forgotten about it, tho. Thanks.....gonna rub down right now and go check it out. Will be back with the results, shortly.

Well, they steered clear of my arms, which were the first extemeties that I wiped down....but they attacked my legs which got rubbed down after my arms. Gues you would have to use two sheets for it to be effective (one for the legs and one for the arms). I use "discount" dryer sheets. Name brand dryer sheets may have enought treatment on them to do arms and legs. Don't think attaching a sheet to your belt would keep them at bay, though.boggybranch said:
Good to hear of this use, as a friend says if you use these sheets in the dryer, it can start a fire. Something about a gummy residue from them building up. Anyone know if this is just an urban myth or for real? At any rate, I have two boxes that I'm afraid to use in the dryer now.

We've used dryer sheets since they were "born". Don't think you have anything to worry about. I would think, with the miliions and millions of people having used these sheets.....if there was "anything" to the 'fire scare'.....it would have, probably, been all over the news.elf said:

I get choked up around perfume and dryer sheets seem to be the worst. When my neighbor uses them in her dryer I have to find something to do to get away for awhile.

My husband is hidious allergic to MANY different dryer sheet / fabric softeners. So far the only thing not to bother him are snuggle original scent. Everything else that happens to him is 100X worse then a bug bite!!! YUCK!
