Today, it was about 80 degrees; for the first time ever in March I had to apply the shade cloth to the greenhouse, as the temperature in there was about 95 degrees. My wife wanted to know if I could spare a few peppers for dinner. I asked how many she wanted and she said three. When I handed her the three peppers she said: "Oh My God." ;)

We just had the peppers for dinner and my wife asked what kind of peppers they were. I asked why she wanted to know, and she said she has never seen any in the market, or bought peppers that tasted so good. My reply was that I doubted a farmer would pay fourteen cents a seed to plant a field full of these. And, that if you don't grow them, you will never get to taste them. That is one of the things I really like about growing my own.;)

So... are you going to tell us what they are, or do we have to beg?
I apologize, I thought I mentioned them in a previous post. They are hybrid Giant Marconi peppers, not to be confused with regular Marconi, which are also very good, but not as large.

JackB, I always feel depressed looking at your stuff. :( Why can't my stuff look like yours? :( I can't even grow bell peppers here.

I am sorry Mary. Perhaps your temps are not suitable for peppers. They love heat.
