I've been doing a little baking for the Easter season this past week, I know I'm going to be very busy on Saturday with baking some goodies for Easter.
Don't you just love Easter? :happy_flower

Looks good! What are the red things??
Thanks! Those red things are red-dyed eggs, i just didnt want to waste two eggs for that purpose so i removed the egg yolk and whites and just kept the shell. Their suppose to be red because they represent the blood of Christ and rebirth.

That looks delicious. I am a bread person, not a fan of regular sandwich bread but those specialty breads, mmm mmm.
I have to do my baking tomorrow. I just got my kitchen floor refinished and couldn't walk on it until last night and I had to clean that wood dust off of everything in there, so no baking today.

I am finishing up my baking for tomorrow too. I made an apricot coffeecake and a cinnamon sourcream coffeecake for Easter breakfast and working on the yeast dinner rolls now.

I love to bake! :love

Happy Easter! :bun

Not baking but tomorrow we are having a crawfish boil with two sacks of crawfish (around 80 lbs) and some dear friends I met at a LA chickenstock last year.

Wow jojo, those cross buns look great! ;)

I myself am a little exhausted from baking today but i have a little more to do tomorrow and cooking as well. Got to get up early tomorrow so i have time to make everything. Hopefully once all this baking/cooking is done back to the garden i go.

Thanks! I was so pleased that they looked so nice. They tasted even better. Best I've ever eaten! I can give you the recipe if you are interested.
