Ever since the wool market crashed in the US, sheep ranching droped like a rock so the availability of LAMB for the traditional Easter dinner is disapearing . This is the third year in a row that my wife can't find lamb at any grocery or butcher store in our area. Also, I can't find any lamb or an old ewe localy that anyone is willing to sell. :( :(

If we can get lamb locally it's only in the spring from Salt Spring Island, but as a rule all our lamb is imported from New Zealand. For us on Sunday it's oven baked spareribs, cauliflower, broccoli and a baked potato.
