I live in South West Florida. Hot, dry and lots of bugs! I planted an eggplant in a plastic container last summer. I haven't had 1 eggplant. It flowers all the time but that's it. Any ideas out there?
Thanks :watering

Could be pollination?. but I think that eggplants are like tomatoes and selfpollinate most of the time. Are the flowers dropping? if so maybe too much nitrogen.

Normally the problem is low night time temps but that can't be true in your area. Maybe you're taking too good care of it. Sometimes stressing by witholding water till they droop a couple of days in a row will get it moving. The nightshade family responds to stress by setting fruit.
As another poster suggested it could be too much nitrogen in relation to potash and phosphate. Try witholding nitrogen.
