Ever run a marathon?

The radio station I usually listen to is having a race in a couple of weekends to raise money for a local group. It's a .5k race. Yep... point-5-k.
They will have a coffee and doughnut table at the half way point.
You can walk up and get your coffee and doughnut before the race if you want and take it back to the starting line to enjoy it while you walk... I mean.. you CAN run it if you want but you'll be done before any of the fun stuff even gets going.. If your a fast eater - you can get one before and another one halfway.
You get the race bib to wear and you can take all the 'finish line' selfies that you want...

It just sounds like a really fun thing to do.
Wouldn't it be fun to have this costume and take something like 2 hours to finish??

WEEEelllllll...... I called to register and found out that it starts at 8AM.
That would mean that I would have to get up at 3:30, drive 4 hrs, pay $20 to take a short walk.....
Um... NO.
