My Fall garden is shaping up nicely so far. I should have my first cutting of kailaan in a couple of weeks, my beets are growing big leaves and I just got my first cabbage shoots showing. I'm about ready to get the beds ready for pak choy, collards and choy sum. I like the last especially well. You can use it like baby pak choy when it's young or wait till the flowers shoots show and harvest it whole. I've been eating carrots all Summer but I really should get another bed of them started. They're a year round crop here. Two more tomatos to ripen and I can take those plants out. I can use the room. My voices are telling me to plant broccoli and cauliflowers also.

I'm watching very carefully! While your climate down south is definitely better than what we have here, it is similar enough to give me some good ideas with watching what you plant. :D

Please keep us posted with info and especially pics!!

Sounds perfect! I am green with envy as usual! I will looking at a snow filled garden, very shortly! Keep telling us what is growing, so I don't lose hope, before spring!

sometimes I wish I could garden all year round but I would miss winter and how pretty it is just after a snowfall...

kaailan - pak choy - choy sum

I'm pleased that another Asian greens fan gardens on the same line of longitude . . .

. . . if not, on the same line of latitude.

She gets a lot more help from rain than I do (well maybe not this year)
The only veggies I have big enough to take pics of right now are my kailaan and beets. The rest are just poking up. the big plant is turmeric and it made a lot of root this Summer. It's probably done growing till warm weather gets back. I hope it flowers this Summer.
