I didn't have a chance to check out your links yet, OG, because i will get sucked in to something interesting like that, but it reminded me of something uniquely Montana that i just learned about. A method of stacking up these huge piles of loose hay with equipment invented in Montana - the beaverslide. Here's a youtube video link to how it works - horsepowered, even! There are a lot of beaverslides around Dillon and Jackson Montana! My father and uncle used them way back when. You have them in your part of the state too? I don't think I've ever seen one in California!

I dont have them right where i live, but i have seen them in the Avon area, when i was on my way to Helena. I was wondering if you would have seen them, Marshall.
