I remember that Groundhog day is Feb 2nd. But what is May 7? It is looking like a big winter storm heading our way on Feb. 2nd. :(

The anniversary of the fall of Dien Bien Phu and the beginning of the French withdrawal from Indochina ..?

May 7th is my daughter's birthday but February 2nd might just repeat endlessly if we don't sacrifice a goat or sow onion seeds or, something.

It's a Saturday so the kid won't have a day off but she might be willing to celebrate her B-day with her mom on Mother's Day Sunday ...

Many early garden crops will have been planted, I should be able to get in a nap ...

Right, Carol Dee! I am counting on that storm to hide the sun on Feb. 2, although, I am also hoping the worst takes a different track and we just get rain.

Okay Mr. Mysterious....I'm sure it's not this >
May 6, 7 - Eta Aquarids Meteor Shower. The Eta Aquarids is an above average shower, capable of producing up to 60 meteors per hour at its peak. Most of the activity is seen in the Southern Hemisphere. In the Northern Hemisphere, the rate can reach about 30 meteors per hour. It is produced by dust particles left behind by comet Halley, which has known and observed since ancient times. The shower runs annually from April 19 to May 28. It peaks this year on the night of May 6 and the morning of the May 7. The new moon will ensure dark skies this year for what could be an excellent show. Best viewing will be from a dark location after midnight. Meteors will radiate from the constellation Aquarius, but can appear anywhere in the sky.

>but it's happening on the same day.
