At work I always had a problem needing fives and tens for change. Anytime I need to by something I use a large bill for the change. Sometimes I will go though check out twice just for the change. A friend gave me a check for $100, when i cashed it at bank the teller asked me how I wanted it. Joking I said all fives, next I knew I had a stack of 20 fives.Years of running around for change all I had to do was go to my bank

working in a restaurant for about a few years then i moved up to a shift supervisor so in mornings & afternoons i always had to run to bank to do deposits or pick up the petty cash for the day. Fridays we had to get change 2x per day just because we always got lots of $20 & $50 bills that day for lunches & dinners.

then i started working in a bank for a few years & got to handle all those 'coin orders' as we called them. lots of commercial clients would come in to exchange large bills for smaller stuff. most businesses that deal with cash usually keep a couple hundred in change to exchange out when they get a lot of larger bills or cashed out drawers between shifts.

I have taken a $100.00 to the self serve checkout at WM to get change...or a $20.00 for smaller change, for like a $3.00 purchase. They machine doesn't ask questions.
