Oh my goodness. Life is good. Two fun surprises in two days. Yesterday I got this FABULOUS tumbler in the mail from a cousins daughter. She wanted to say she was thinking of me and hoped I am enjoying my retirement. Then today a family from my bus. (I drove them for 6 years) Brought me this BIG BEAUTIFUL mum plant. Now I need the perfect place to plant it. I am so blessed.

wow! that's a monster!

i once had a few mums given to us and we wanted to plant a bunch of them out back so i chopped those mums back and rooted the trimmings. everyone of those cuttings took. we planted them all out and none of them survived the deer and soil were just too much for them.

i can imagine how many trimmings that huge plant would make!
