Guess they're not as NICE as WE are!!wifezilla said:I brought up urban farming once on another forum and got pounced on. "It can't be done!" blah blah blah. Whatever!
See, that's too easy an idea for the masses... big companies won't allow it, and they actually are the controllers of our governments currently if you hadn't noticed!Ladyhawke1 said:Now think about this. This may seem off topic.but give me the benefit of the doubt. Solar Panels are built on every house in America.
Ya know people always throw that word terrorism around. Personally, I am more worry about my own backyard and not being able to have food to eat. Actually there are people that are tens of thousands of miles away that are thinking the same thingand they have strangers in their backyards .telling them what to do.
What is our most exposed resource? The resource that is most likely to be exposed to a threat of some kind is our electrical grid. If that is destroyed, we are in deep do do. ( Do..do is a technical term.)
However, if every home had its own power supply there is no threat. My question is.where is our priorities in this country. I heard that 17 to 20% of all electricity is lost in just in the transmission of electricity to its final destination.
Further, we can build them here and employ the army of people that need work and a decent living.
