How do you get rid of grasshoppers :idunno I've noticed that I have some this year along with some other critters that I pick off the plants and give to the chickens but those hoppers are just to darn fast for this ol' lady to chase after.

Are you not able to let your chickens free-range for a while daily? They love to chase and eat grasshoppers.

Same here the chickens would eat more of the garden and scratch up the plants more then they would catch the hoppers I think. :hu
