First sugar snap peas of the season

Love your trellis, I think I am going to steal the idea. My 11 yr old LOVES sugar peas, I usually end up with vines and no peas. I am going to put my boys to work constructing one for me.

Alright you guys! This is soooo not fair! I can't even put anything out until May or the frost gets it!!!! Those peas look so good, Hoodat! I can almost taste them. . . . guess I'd better add snap peas to my list for this year!

Still reaching for the sky but they may not look this good tomorrow. We're expecting a Santa Ana wind and that may bend the tops over. I have to use a ladder to get at the top to pick.

Those look amazing, Hoodat! I'm sure you have your challenges gardening in San Diego, but it be very satisfying to be able to garden all year 'round.
