I'm very lucky to live where I do. I just picked a huge bunch of lettuce & spinach. So we'll be having tacos for dinner with the fresh lettuce, and I think I'll make spinach dip for the left over taco shells after dinner.

I have a few nice cabbages out there ready to go too, but I'll probably use those for tomorrow nights dinner.

Just feeling so very blessed today, I had to share. :love

That sounds good vfem! :) I just got back from NC, we really need plenty of rain after the dry summer we had. At least it did rain a few days ago while I was there. Hopefully now in the winter more rain or snow will fall to help the next growing season. It wasn't too cold either maybe we'll see a mild winter this year?

Well I can't go to the garden and pick my dinner. But I can go to the freezer and cupboard :) Last week I prepared a big pot of vegtable beef soup. :drool Mmmm. Tomatoes, potatoes, corn, green beans from the garden. Only had to add stew meat and carrots from the store. (If the carrots had survived the drought we would not have had to buy those either. )

Definitely a blessing. We're still eating on fresh turnips and kale. Not too much longer to wait to put out lettuce and spinach here. Still waiting on my brussels to sprout. :p

Oh my! You are indeed blessed to be able to harvest from your garden at this time of year. We have 2 or 3 inches of ice on our pool right now!
