Wow, flashback! I remember that video from when we first got cable tv and MTV was new. :)

We got 2.5" yesterday (which is nothing compared to what Baymule is getting), but where our clay doesn't drain easily, my backyard was totally flooded (and I live on top of a hill.) I've gotten two rows of bush beans and two rows of peppers planted in the garden over Memorial day weekend (before it started raining again.) Where DH took out the concrete pad in the middle of my garden, I now have a small pond. :\ I think I'm just going to start piling manure there.

Hey, that load-handler tool we bought works great! He has gotten me 3 loads already, plus 3 of mulch. So much quicker and easier. All he has to do is sweep a little out the bed of the truck afterward.

We got another inch of rain today. My sandy soil soaks it up, then when saturated, it runs off. On a brighter note, my sister's house doesn't have water in it anymore and the road to their neighborhood is not underwater anymore.
