Excellent! I like it! I also like the pictures on the way. But sometimes frightening realism.

That is a mural my daughter-in-law painted on the walls of the grands' bedroom nearly a dozen years ago. Then they moved and the house was rented out. I very much doubt the mural will be worth saving when the current tenants move.

Wow, @Smart Red , that mural is stunning. What an exercise of imagination for your grandkids to have enjoyed. It really draws you in. I looked it over in detail for quite some time. Maybe worth getting a professional to come photograph it for posterity? It would make a good print too. Art should live on! :)

@Larisa , those sidewalk drawings are so cool. Then when you approach them from the side you see they are all stretched out. I love to draw and paint too, but I cannot imagine how they achieve such a perfect perspective to put that down on a 2D surface and have it come out in perfect proportion unless they stretched an image digitally and redrew it from a grid. I would love to see one in the process of being drawn. I believe that is just chalk they use too. It would be a bummer to watch the rain wash it away!

We have some amazing historical murals running the length of several blocks along the flood wall at the riverfront park. The city of Point Pleasant had them commissioned to commemorate the story of the native Americans and settlers of the area. I'll get some pictures next time I'm down there and post them.
