This is the first year I planted Jack-o-Lantern halloween pumpkins. We've gotten 4 good ones and they are starting to ripen. I was hoping they would have been bigger. Maybe I'll look for a bigger pumpkin next year.

Mary, I'm surprised you have room for pumpkins! They are looking good.
Haha, I had to block off one of the kids paths where they ride their bikes and cars.

I cram as much as I can in my tiny yard. I'm always amazed how many fruit trees and veggies I can get in there!

Mary my grandparents would have love you. It is amazing how many fruit trees they had on a city lot. They have cute little mini pumpkins.
Aww..thank you Nyboy. I actually have 6 fruit trees in the ground and 3 in containers. I must be the master of square foot gardening. haha

Wow 9 trees I am converting Thistle into a Meyer Lennon tree fan. Has to be potted in our zones.

She's doing great too! Looking very happy sitting on the teachers stump in the SBG.

The kids are growing some mini pumpkins this year. In the ground, and hoping to get them to vine up the fence. And get actual pumpkins too.

Oh no Steve, they have to make it to Halloween! That was the whole purpose of planting them. If they ripen sooner than October that's ok since I usually do my front door fall decorating Sept. 1 and can use them.

Sounds like the start of a nursery rhyme.
