What do you think? Are there better choices for you?
Accounting for miles would have been more complicated but would have made for better information - especially out here where a single county can be larger than some states.
An example of that is driving to Boise Idaho from where I once lived in California would have been exactly the same distance as a 650 mile drive to Los Angeles. Traveling to the northern border of Oregon and Multnomah Falls would be a much shorter distance. In fact, it would be shorter to go to Seattle for the free sailboat ride
