Got 3 more beds to make and the garden will be all boxed (eventually raised, when filled) beds. There will be a total of 12 beds, the largest is 15' X 20'.
Have got spinach, collards, lettuce, swiss chard, brocolli, onions, carrots, beets, taters, and sugar snaps already planted in the garden and all are up (except the carrots and swiss chard...just planted) and doing good. Maters are growing in the display table greenhouse.
Have got the row cover and hay ready in case Jack Frost wants to pay a visit.
God....I love this time of year. :weee

Me too!! I feel renewed hope this time of year, and sprouting seeds, seeing opening buds, etc, is a never ending source of joy and appreciation.

Congratulations boggy b !

You have worked so hard on your new project! May you have a wonderful productive " Lottie" this year. It's going to be exciting watching it grow & you will have you little grand-daughter along side you with her own raised bed to experiment with.

Good Luck to you both! :happy_flower

Wow boggybranch looks like your well ahead of some of us with the plantings. I hope all your plantings will grow good.
Yep this time of the year is great can't be better!! :ya

Enjoy and keep us updated! ;)

Wow! 15'x20'? How are you going to walk through there? Did you create a path?

Didn't put in any paths......gonna use the old "board laid down on top of the mulch" pathway I pickup on some of the allotment links that Hattie provided.

Thanks Hattie,

I'm looking forward to growing a whole lotta stuff that I would never have considered growing if not for the links and info you provided on the allotments.
Gotta say, I'm more excited about this year's garden than ANY I've ever had. A work in progress.

Hattie is a habit former!! She instigates most of this stuff with her, ever too easy to get lost in, links! :plbb at you Hattie!

:lau Just kidding, your links have been a good influence in most cases. Very informative and fun to get lost on those sites. :pop

Sounds great! I was hoping to poke around the yard this weekend but we have had torrential downpours for the last 2 days.
I am itching to get out there and do something, even if its just straightening up and getting things organized.
We can't put too many crops in this time of year, its still kind of early for alot of things.
