Hi there! :frow

Earlier this year I started to grow my first ever crop of garlic. I had just relocated my neglected raised beds to a sunnier, more sheltered position & the snow & ice had finally gone. Luckily I had covered a couple of the beds with panes of glass well before Christmas so they warmed up a lot quicker. The garlic was put in around the first week in March -- I was amazed at how quickly it shot up. I pulled it all up 3 weeks ago when it was so wet here as I was worried it would split & rot. I was pleased because it had done rather well. I set it to dry off under cover along with my shallots.

I now want to do an late Fall Planting to see if it does even better. I have ordered more garlic & I shall plant the larger cloves of the stuff I grew this Spring.

I have been doing a bit more research on the subject & came across this site which I thought was excellent for it's information --- so I thought I would pass it on to any more beginners !
