Gathering New Mulch

I have had Goat Duty the past few days. Yesterday I decided I needed some exercise, so I raked up the goat pen and put it all in trash bags to use as a mulch in my garden. I got large trash bags full!!

The goat pen is on the property of a private school. On lunch break some of the kids came to see the new babies. And offered to help me! I never turn down good helpers!

I found a wooded patch where someone has been dumping grass and leaf trimmings for years. Huge piles of the stuff just lie there, rotting... free for the taking on public access land.

I drive my truck over fill er up and head out. My compost bin WILL BE enlarged...
