Was wondering how hot it is. Ive got access to some and was wondering for the fall to put some down on the garden then let the snow and winter do its thing before I till it under in the spring. Always open to ideas....

Thanks folks

Goat manure isn't hot and can be used right away as a mulch around plants, though I personally would take care not to let it touch stems if it's "brand new". Manure from ruminants, sheep, goat, llama, rabbit etc. is considered cold because the nitrogen is not as readily accessible... or something like that... :/.
We always used our goat berries on the garden, liberally, and never burned anything.
Another good thing about it is that there will be no weed seeds.

Goat is kind of an in between manure. It can burn if you really pile it on but otherwise it's pretty safe to use fresh.
